Ethical-Based Decision Assignment
The learning objectives of this assignment:
1) To develop critical thinking and reflection on their clinical experience to relate to the case scenarios and present their argument and decisions as a nurse.
2) To recognize healthcare dilemmas, make good judgements and decisions based on personal and professional values while keeping the local laws that govern the decision.
Instructions:
1) This is an individual assignment. There are 10 case scenarios which will be balloted by the tutorial lecturer.
2) Based on the case scenario, students are to use the Bioethics framework by Thompson and Thompson to deduce and provide the argument sections to address the problem for a realistic outcome / solution.
