This is an individual assignment. You are required to upload a single report to CANVAS and please be advised to note down the Submission ID as acknowledgement of submission. Submission ID is the ONLY proof of submission, especially in the event of technical failure. Submission via Canvas mobile app is not supported.

Multiple submissions are allowed before the cut-off date. All assignments are to be submitted via T/TG group in CANVAS. Please ensure that you have submitted the assignment to the correct folder. Re-submission is NOT allowed after the cut-off date (including the grace period). Only the latest submission copy will be considered for grading. Any appeals for resubmission after the cut-off date will not be entertained.

The assignment is to be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) with the following format:

In this TMA, you are playing the role of an HR professional, helping your boss prioritise which areas of employee engagement to focus on and invest the most budget in. 

In this TMA, you are to:

1.  Read the short scenario provided below 
2.  Provide your own rankings for areas to focus on in employee engagement 
3.  Justify your ranking for each area of focus with research, evidence and examples

Note that in your GBA, you will come together as a group to discuss your individual rankings you have submitted in this TMA. To provide a realistic experience of what happens in the workplace, you should first independently conduct your own research, and rankings. The GBA groups will only be set up after submission of this TMA. As a GBA group, you have to reach a consensus about rankings and provide justification for the final rankings with research, evidence, and examples

Now, focus on the top 5 areas that you have selected. Discuss how each of the 5 areas affects employee engagement in organizations with examples from research (max words, 2500 words).

Looking at the top 5 areas you have chosen, do the following:

1) Appraise the talent management needs of an organization, Top Design 

2) Justification on why you have ranked them in their respective rankings (ranking 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). You should conduct research and consider the literature in light of the special context of the case at hand.

The maximum word count for this is 2500 words. You can use footnotes and endnotes for your citations. In this question, you will be evaluated on the logic of your arguments, the strengths of your research, and the examples cited.
