C-terminal His-tagged Calcitonin (5 grams) and untagged GLP-1 peptide (10 grams) are accidentally mixed in 1L of 0.5M imidazole buffer. QC confirmed that there are no other impurities in the mixture. Design a suitable downstream purification scheme to obtain pharmaceutical-grade calcitonin and GLP-1, each in lyophilized form.
