Journal Task
For you journal task this week, please write a two to three paragraph reflection on the readings from Aneesh et al (2011) and Mark Poster (2008). Reflective writing tends to be “exploratory, tentative and personal” in contrast to standard essay writing. In essence, such writing is about “the exploration of the connections between course material and a person’s individual life and psyche” (Bean 2011, 117). Your journal task invites your response to the required readings and can include “speaking back” to the reading in a musing, questioning, or probing way.
Ideally, you should reflect on key points and examples explored in the readings. You may also wish to draw on other reference sources as well as relevant examples that you are familiar with. Your response will be approximately 400 to 600 words and should include references to the readings and any other reference sources you draw on.
