Pick a major political or business figure of your choice and write a well-substantiated essay that addresses the following:

(a) What are the skills, characteristics, and/or types of knowledge that your chosen political or business figure would like workers and/or learners to possess? In order to answer this question, you should examine the speeches, writings, actions, policies, etc., of your chosen political or business figure.

(b) Why does your chosen political or business figure think that these skills, characteristics, and/or types of knowledge are important? You must answer with reference to your chosen political or business figure’s ideological positions and/or views on major trends (e.g. political, social, economic, business, technological, environmental, etc.). In order to identify these ideological positions and/or views on major trends, you should examine the speeches, writings, actions, policies, etc., of your chosen political or business figure.

(c) Comment on how your chosen political or business figure might react to the insights that can be found in the NCO111 study guide. You must answer with reference to what you have learnt about your chosen political or business figure in (a) and (b). (60 marks) To repeat, you must pick a major political or business figure.
