ASSIGNMENT 2: GROUP ASSIGNMENT
You are required to provide an integrated analysis of an organization that has been in the news media for Employee Welfare Violations and sued by the employees, Workers’ Union or a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) and/or investigated by the respective government authorities, between 2000 and present-day (2018).
After your analysis of root causes is completed, you are to provide recommendations. Identify also the outcomes that affected the organisation based on your analyses and the outcomes that will affect the organisation based on your recommendations.
Your report should have the following: Title Page, Executive Summary, Introduction, Analyses, Recommendations, and Conclusion.

- What is the relationship between leadership, power, and formal authority in this organisation?
Recommendations (items 4a and 4d are mandatory to be answered)
- I what ways should the organisation incorporate “new forms of practices” into its structure? What would be the effect of such implementation? Example:
What investments “in people” should the organisation make? Do workers function as individuals, groups, teams, or some mix of all three?
What level of “involvement” should employees have in the organisation’s decision-making? Justify your answer – provide actual reported scenarios, incidences, and/or internal policies & practices.
Improvements and/or “Out-Of-The-Box” practices for the management & leadership styles.

- The issues identified from the violation case reports and their connection to the culture, the behaviour of the management and the employees and the organisation performance.
- The organisation policies & practices, the leadership, power, and formal authority practices that are in question.
- The key challenges identified being faced by the organisation to the management of human resources.
- The strategies employed to meet all the issues and challenges as identified by your team.
- Explanation of how and why these strategies would be beneficial.
- Include changes to the management system and to the monitoring and control of the implemented actions to ensure proper maintenance and improvements.
