Part 2: Foundation Design
It should include the following:
- Conceptual design of the foundation system.
- Geological soil profile and design soil parameters for pile capacity and
settlement calculations. - A layout plan of the columns and the loads.
- Piling layout plan.
- Description of pile foundation system including pile type, number of piles, pile
size and pile length. - Hand or Excel spreadsheet calculations for pile capacity to be included in the
appendix.
